While Dr. Kapoor does not see clients directly through the clinic, he supports our team by sharing his psychiatric expertise, clinical knowledge, and guidance, helping us ensure that our clients receive informed, coordinated, and high-quality care.
Dr. Kalvin Kapoor is a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive experience delivering high-quality telepsychiatry across private practices, university mental health programs, and national behavioral health organizations. Dr Kapoor brings a deep understanding of diverse patient needs and a commitment to expanding access to evidence-based psychiatric care.
Dr. Kapoor treats a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, insomnia, and substance use disorders. He has particular expertise in treatment-resistant depression, complex medication management, addiction psychiatry, and innovative telehealth-driven models of care.
His clinical approach centers on thoughtful diagnostic evaluation, collaborative treatment planning, and individualized care. Dr. Kapoor is known for creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their treatment decisions.

Abibatou Salami is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in mental health care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors across Kansas and Missouri.
Sarah earned her degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2022 and began her career at KVC, where she completed her internship and became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She is currently pursuing her LPCP.
Sarah has experience working with children and families in acute care settings, including foster care and the juvenile justice system. She provides a safe, supportive environment where children can process trauma, build resilience, and work toward lasting emotional growth.
Stacia D. Fox, LPC earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and holds bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Positive Psychology.
She provides counseling for children, adolescents, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Stacia takes a warm, trauma-informed approach, helping clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and achieve lasting emotional well-being in a safe, supportive environment.
As the Founding Practice Administrator, Laurianne blends her advanced healthcare expertise with a genuine passion for caring for people. From your very first visit, her goal is to ensure every experience is smooth, welcoming, and completely stress-free.
She oversees the clinic’s daily operations with your comfort in mind, managing everything from friendly scheduling and clear communication to supportive team coordination. By handling the behind-the-scenes logistics, Laurianne allows both patients and providers to focus on what matters most: exceptional care. Above all, she is committed to creating a safe, organized, and respectful environment where every patient feels heard, valued, and supported.
Christopher brings experience in child and adult psychiatry, behavioral health, and detox intake coordination to help NeoWellnez patients begin their care with confidence. He guides individuals and families through the admissions process with compassion and clarity.
As our Spravato Patient Coordinator, Christopher oversees enrollment, insurance prior authorizations, and safety tracking throughout treatment. His warm, judgment-free approach helps ensure every patient feels informed, comfortable, and supported from their first interaction with NeoWellnez.

Abibatou Salami, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and co-founder of Neowellnez, an outpatient mental health practice serving children, adolescents, adults, and families across Kansas and Missouri. She specializes in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, pediatric behavioral health, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent four years in behavioral health nursing across inpatient psychiatry, emergency care, psychiatric intake, and complex care transitions. Her approach emphasizes family-centered treatment and support for neurodivergent children and their caregivers. She is currently expanding Neowellnez to offer Spravato® treatment for treatment-resistant depression and small-group intensive outpatient programs that provide teens with individualized support and coping skills.

Christopher leverages his specialized background in child and adult psychiatry, behavioral health, and detox intake coordination to help NeoWellnez clients begin their healing journey. He has a natural ability to connect with patients of all ages on a deeper level, providing compassionate guidance to families navigating the admissions process.
In addition to general intake, Christopher functions as our Spravato Patient Coordinator. In this specialized role, he guides individuals through their advanced interventional therapy programs, overseeing patient enrollment, handling complex insurance prior authorizations, and managing safety tracking. Dedicated to cultivating a warm, judgment-free environment, Christopher ensures that everyone who reaches out feels deeply supported and confident from their very first visit.
